Case Study: Bespoke, Platform-specific Compilers

Since 2011, LzLabs has been developing innovative solutions for enterprise computing customers.  Their flagship product, the Software Defined Mainframe (SDM), is a workload rehosting and mainframe modernization platform that allows its customers to execute their legacy code on open systems. Because of the unique and complex nature of the SDM, LzLabs needed a highly customized compiler to interface with the LzLabs runtime.

LzLabs called upon Raincode Labs to design and implement two compilers that integrate seamlessly with their SDM and provide a basis for maintaining and developing the migrated legacy code using modern languages.
